Wellbeing Support

Wollert Secondary College utilises the evidence based Resilience Project resources as the basis for our wellbeing education program, teaching positive strategies to help young people build happiness and resilience. We focus on Gratitude, Empathy and Mindfulness as the pillars to support Emotional Literacy and Resilience.

Connect

Connect is a dedicated subject focussed on developing the social, emotional and personal growth of our students. Classes explore a range of areas, such as respectful relationships, and how to develop as confident, resilient learners in a modern world.

Breakfast Club

When our bellies are satisfied, we can then work to satisfy our learning needs. Healthy eating patterns are a vital part of our day to day self-care, and we are excited to be working with Baseline Whittlesea to offer a Breakfast Club in the near future.

Tritactics Martial Arts Therapy

This special program develops skills for young people in emotional regulation, problem solving and communication – as well as self-defence tactics, in a fun and engaging environment.

Reclink

We are delighted to invite Reclink into our College to run lunchtime sporting activities, to engage our young learners in and out of the classroom. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to make positive social connections with each other and positively influenced by role models within our community.
