Paving Pathways Program – Year 10, 11 & 12
Paving Pathways represents the Senior Years program at Wollert Secondary College, designed to guide students through Years 10, 11, and 12 as they prepare for their future studies, careers, and personal goals. This program supports students in discovering their passions, building independence, and developing the skills they need to succeed beyond school.

With a strong focus on career pathways, student choice, and goal setting, the senior years are designed to help every learner create a meaningful and successful future.
Year 10 – Exploring Passions & Pathways
In 2026, Wollert Secondary College will proudly introduce Year 10 as part of our expanding senior program.
As part of their Careers and Pathways journey, students will also participate in a Year 10 Work Experience Program. This valuable opportunity enables students to step into real workplaces, gain firsthand insight into different industries, and develop essential employability skills such as communication, teamwork, and initiative. Work experience helps students make informed decisions about their future studies and career pathways while building confidence and independence.
Year 10 students will experience a blend of core subjects and elective options that allow them to explore areas of interest and begin shaping their future learning direction.

Students also participate in Careers and Pathways Education within our Connect Program, which helps them set goals, understand subject selections for VCE, VET, VCE-VM and VCE-VPC, and connect learning with real-world opportunities.
Early Start VCE Program
We’re excited to offer an Early Start Year 11 Program for Psychology Units 1 & 2 in 2026 with further Early Start subject opportunities available in 2027. This provides Year 10 students with the opportunity to:
- Begin their VCE journey early
- Explore their passion for various VCE subjects
- Experience the expectations and learning style of senior secondary studies
This early start supports confident transitions and gives students a head start on their senior learning pathways.
Years 11 & 12 – Shaping the Future
As Wollert Secondary College continues to grow, our Years 11 and 12 programs will expand to include a range of VCE, VET, VCE-VM, VCE-VPC pathways, offering flexibility, challenge, and support for every learner.
