Wellbeing

At Wollert Secondary College, we understand that students reach their full potential only when they are happy, healthy, and safe. We believe that a positive school culture, where student participation is encouraged and valued, helps to engage students, and support them in their learning.

We are fortunate enough to have well staffed Wellbeing and Health Team:

  • Karina Dienjes – Mental Health and Wellbeing Co-ordinator
  • Nicole Davy – Educational Psychologist
  • Amanda Monterosso – Mental Health Practitioner
  • Alicia Messina – Wellbeing Support

School Wide Positive Behaviours Support

Wollert Secondary College encourages, teaches and celebrates positive behaviours, and is in the establishment phase of implementing our School Wide Positive Behaviour Support program. We are currently working with staff and students to define our expected behaviours, based on our core values: Be Kind, Be Brave, Be True and Be Safe. We acknowledge positive behaviours through our flag system, house points, and our rewards system.
