Wellbeing Support
Wollert Secondary College has a team of allied health professionals to support students’ health and wellbeing. The Wellbeing space is a friendly and welcoming area that students are welcome to drop in during recess or lunch. Our Wellbeing team are active members of the College community, and work with students for a range of reasons, and even join us in the classroom to support our social and emotional learning.
Student Wellbeing Programs
Student Wellbeing Programs: The College runs a variety of wellbeing programs that support students in a range of topical needs and interests. These are rotational, and will usually run for a Term in length. Past programs have included: Girls Group; Martial Arts Therapy; Organisational Skills; Mentoring programs.
Connect
Connect is a dedicated subject focussed on developing the social, emotional and personal growth of our students. Classes explore a range of areas, such as respectful relationships, and how to develop as confident, resilient learners in a modern world.
Breakfast Club
When our bellies are satisfied, we can then work to satisfy our learning needs. Healthy eating patterns are a vital part of our day to day self-care, and we are excited to be working with Baseline Whittlesea to offer a Breakfast Club in the near future.
Reclink
We are delighted to invite Reclink into our College to run lunchtime sporting activities, to engage our young learners in and out of the classroom. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to make positive social connections with each other and positively influenced by role models within our community.
